DENTAL CARE Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. Dental disease is the most common disease that affects our pets regardless of their age group. If left untreated, dental disease can be a significant contributor to other life-threatening diseases such as heart disease and kidney failure. Our dental technicians use modern, safe, state-of-the-art piezo-electric scaling to gently but thoroughly clean each tooth - above and below the gum line. We then polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Diseased teeth are evaluated and treated based on the degree of damage visible above the surface and, when indicated, the damage revealed on dental x-rays. Advanced dental procedures such as root canals, caps, braces and endodontic surgery is referred to and performed by a board certified veterinary dental specialist when needed. | View |

In addition, we utilize the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center for after hour emergencies. | View |
